§ Directions to facility:
o
Take
I-10 EAST. Take the Exit 2 exit.
o
Off
of ramp, turn right onto PINE FOREST RD and drive for about 5 miles.
o
Turn right at light onto Longleaf Dr/Rd.
This becomes Blue Angel Pkwy.
o
About
10 miles down, the road dead ends into the back gate of the base.
o
The
back gate on Blue Angle Parkway. Make
sure you have identification (Driver’s License, Proof of Registration, and
Insurance) with you since we are under Threat Condition Alpha - sometimes the
guards at the gate will wave you through, sometimes the car will be searched,
sometimes you are given a visitor’s pass - it is of course random - please be
patient.
o
The
road you are on is known as Radford Rd, but I don’t think it is marked
anywhere.
o
About
3 miles past the gate, the lighthouse will be on your right and the Naval
Aviation Museum will be on your left.
o
Directly
after that go through the blinking yellow light (the Naval Lodge and
Lighthouse Point Restaurant is on your right).
o
About
1 mile after that there will be another blinking light with yellow to go
straight and red to turn left. The Officer’s Club will be on your right and you
need to turn left onto Duncan Rd.
o
Take
your first right onto Turner St. (at the bottom of the hill before the
outdoor pool with big blue slide)
o
Go
past the long parking lot on your left and the barracks on your right. Turn left at the first street past
the bricked-in obstacle course, before the Emergency sign at the clinic.
o Pull into parking lot marked “NASC STAFF/STUDENT PARKING”- Bldg 3828 is the large building to your right - known as the Aviation Schools Command Bldg. (Where the star is on the map “to the side of the clinic and behind the bowling alley”). Use the southwest door.

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE STARS…
…I COULN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO REMOVE THEM
